There are two (2) immediate openings for interns in our Upper Saddle River office. RBC can offer an interactive, hands-on opportunity to learn up close and personal the public relations profession. Our interns will learn:
- how to research, write and pitch stories to media
- how to plan and execute special events
- the art of interacting with clients
- how to pitch new business.
The internship is unpaid, but the professional and educational value is tremendous. Each intern will be expected to work a minimum of 10 hours per week. Hours of availability will obviously be contingent upon class schedules. Prior PR experience is a plus, but not required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required. Serious applicants should e-mail their resume and writing samples to: Craig Bailey, cbailey@rbcpr.com. Qualified applicants will be contacted for interviews. Please restrict questions or request for additional information to e-mail. No phone calls please.
